A-SYMMETRY
    Asymmetry facilitates the need for perfection. Granting us a certain mental spontaneity and unconcern. Capable of liberating not only the one who creates it but also the one who contemplates it. 

Why do we find harmony in disequilibrium? If harmony is what we understand it to be, it should bring us peace, tranquillity, and symmetry. This “imbalance” is what drives the movement of life. Our mind, the universe, and nature itself are full of opposing tensions (Heraclitus).

A perfectly symmetrical Zen garden feels artificial. Unlike one with a slightly off-centre rock and a few fallen leaves.
